The differences between the Rubbermaid product lines are not well defined. The Brilliance items "Food Storage" and "Pantry" have some minor differences, mainly that the items from the pantry cannot be stacked (highlighted in yellow in the photo); The shape of the container is not narrow enough to stack. I give this 4/5 stars precisely because it lacks that ability. Note that items from the food storage (tapered) stack with items from the pantry (non-tapered). Food storage containers are available in 3.2, 4.7, and 9.6 cups. I bought this 4 x 7.8 cup storage container because it's better for storing large portions of foods like gravy pasta and meatballs. However, I like the Brilliance line for several reasons (1) no food stains (2) no residual odors (3) dishwasher/microwave safe (4) clean design (5) airtight.
