These coasters come in a box that is easy to pack up if you're giving them away. Each stand is individually bubble wrapped in the box. As a Chicagoan, I ordered these for myself and they're pretty cool, but I have two reservations. First, they're fragile, so I'm afraid a fall and the stand will go away. Although the product description is correct, I misunderstood the ceramic material and it's my fault. They are definitely ceramic and will absorb drops, protecting the surface underneath. There is also a typo on the Washington/Wells tile. A lot of people don't get it, but I get it. So, a lovely set of coasters that I've received positive compliments on. I also want to use them as decorative coasters.
