I'm already using charging cables. My cell phone is charging now. Faster than some others. So far it's solid and strong. Although I've had a few longer than this (6ft), 3ft is better in some ways. It doesn't get tangled that easily. Hope this works for a few months. Then I can say that they are worth their money. A particularly good length if you use it with a portable charger - and take it with you when you travel elsewhere.
