Review on πŸ”Š Nobsound NS-15G PRO 2 Channel Bluetooth 5.0 Amplifier - Class D Stereo Audio Power Amp Receiver, 200W by Craig Goodman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's been decent so far.

I ordered this compact stereo amplifier to operate small outdoor speakers in my garden shed during the summer months. Note that this device was stored indoors and under air-conditioned conditions. I ordered it in September 2019 and it worked great at first. The Bluetooth function always connected quickly and stayed connected with a reasonably good range. I will note that when attempting to connect to bluetooth, there was always a clicking noise in the amp itself, which never affected the connection or the overall sound once bluetooth connected. According to the instructions (a sheet of paper is included), short-term "cracking noises" when plugging in are normal. This little device made a lot of noise. So much so that I never had to turn the volume knob more than a third and my speakers were pretty loud outdoors. Then winter came and I had no reason to be outside, so the indoor device sat idle until spring 2020. I go to turn it on and connect and to my surprise the Bluetooth feature has now completely let me down. No matter what I do, I can't connect. Hm? How can it be? It works fine then disconnect then reconnect and bluetooth function not working? Luckily, I can still use this amp when wired to my tablet or phone with a 3.5mm RCA cable. The whole point of setting it up, however, was to go wireless. For this reason, I am rating this product three stars for its unreliability and the extremely short life span of the Bluetooth function. Such a shame! This little amp had potential and I was hoping it would last more than a few months and some feature wouldn't let me down. And of course, the return window disappeared from it. How typical.
