Noticeable Difference

Edit: It's now 10/12/2020, the average temperature is still 71oC, I have 50 Chrome tabs open and I'm running Zoom. The cooling also works best when the legs are at least half stretched. Temperatures rose over 80 degrees when legs were down at full load, so I think the distance between the cooler and the table (or your knees) needs to be kept in mind. +1 star because I seem to have found the key to efficiency. Added screenshot showing clear temperature differences in 4 different tests. I have a Lenovo with an Intel XEON processor, so I used the Intel Power Gadget tool to take my laptop's temperature for about 40 minutes. This is for my work laptop which I use for data processing and lots of RAM to do chores and creative things like using the Adobe Creative Suite and running 50 Chrome tabs at a time. My laptop is getting hot and here we are. For the first two rounds of testing, I turned on the fan for 10 minutes and saw that the temperature stayed below 70 both times and continued to run throughout the day. Without a fan, it ran at around 70 degrees Celsius. The cooling range is around 5 degrees Celsius, which is normal and proves that the thing works out of the box. Turning the fan on and running it at full speed produces very little airflow, but the data shows there is a cooling effect. . It's quiet and it's cool. Yay, confirmation. The LEDs are pretty and I love the colors but as other reviews have said I wish there was an option to turn them off. All in all, a decent cooling pad at a decent price. Conclusion: It works. However, I had hoped for a higher cooling range than 5 degrees Celsius. Calm. Build is ok but was hoping for faster and stronger speeds. Maybe I just have a super hot laptop with too high expectations.
