This shoe was advertised as 100% leather on the Revain site at the time of this review. Upon receipt, the boot itself admits on the inside that the upper is leather/synthetic. means cheap. Thanks to the credit I liked the fit, feel and look but the shoe is a glass shoe. The toe injury you see in the photos happened at the office in less than a week. (The car to the site to the office to the site to the house). I don't grind my toes over gravel or polish my shoes with sandpaper like that. What we got here is basically a veneer of thin faux leather. The last pair of shoes I had that were used the same way every day had real leather uppers and lasted over a year without showing this type of damage. I liked Nunn Bush. I don't think that much anymore.
