My first year with watch

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the watch after wearing it every day for the past year. To be honest, almost 5,000 watch reviews speak for themselves, but I love watches and they deserve a detailed review. Pros: - This is a quartz movement, so it tells the time much more accurately than any mechanical watch. I usually have to adjust by a few minutes every few months. I've abused this watch (banging against walls/tables, dropping it on the floor, diving under water, leaving it in freezing/scorching weather) but still runs like a champ with the tiniest scratch on the glass - Indiglo was useful for illuminating the watch face in the dark - the timeless design makes it easy to put on and take off It has a few downsides: - quartz movements are battery operated, meaning you'll need to change batteries every few years and will likely want professional servicing (especially for the faint of heart) - even with quartz movements you have to get used to the classic time bomb " of the movement of the second hand. If you have a small room in your apartment like me, you hear it all night - probably wouldn't go too deep into the water - Polish not very good and slightly uneven (but may be due to the above abuses) - Included nato strap breaks easily (see photo) - maybe for the first month, but I've learned to live with it. Until I ordered a new one. With all that said, I would recommend his watch to anyone looking for a serious cheap watch that keeps time and looks stylish. I have 2 mechanical watches, but I feel like I need to be extra careful in my area (especially here in New York) to avoid tripping over subway turnstiles or scaffolding. That's all. That's probably the best $30 I've spent this year, with the possible exception of a large umbrella that has lasted over a year here in New York (which is amazing).
