When I first took the gate out of the box I was impressed. It made a very robust and well-made impression. During installation, the impression changed very quickly. The swinging door worked fine, but as soon as I opened the doorknob at the top, it wouldn't stay locked. As I proceeded to install the gate, the top and bottom hinges of the same panel broke. In my photo you can see how badly the hinges are attached. My dog is 5 pounds and it would probably be fine if the straps didn't come loose. However, if you had a large dog, this can be a problem. Now it consists of 2 parts and is unusable. I hope the return works better than the purchase.
