I bought these for an exhibition that runs 6 weeks. When I received them I tested each of the lights and was impressed with the brightness. For the exhibition I decided I needed 2 strings where I was planning to use 1 string. This was to be expected judging by the product image, which showed a full 6-pack in a can. I knew I would eventually have to replace the batteries, maybe twice. I waited until the gallery opened on the first day (Tuesday at 12pm) to turn on the lights to save as much battery as possible. When first turned on, the light was very bright, but after an hour it started to dim. They stayed but burned down on Friday. I had 12 strings that needed changing batteries. Each battery has 4 small screws. Each pack of 6 comes with a tiny 1 3/4" screwdriver. The screws were very tight and I almost ripped each one off trying to loosen them. You must remove each screw completely to access the batteries which slide easily out and in. You then have to screw each of the tiny batteries back in to close them.The whole process took about 5 minutes to pack them up.Most of the time was loosening screws and what was disappointing was that even after i swapped the batteries (sony brand) the bright light dimmed again within the first hour.each chain takes two CR2032 batteries.this is clearly stated in the description.however the lifespan is short and the need for replacement is such these lights are totally ineffective for a trade show as I can't go through every day turning each of the batteries off and on again.I I would reuse them for something that doesn't require them to be left on for more than 24-48 hours. At the same time, the light in the exhibition is beautiful. They are only short-lived. With the frequent replacement of batteries and the time it takes to replace them, they are MUCH more expensive than I anticipated.
