I was skeptical about buying a different brand charger for my MacBook Pro but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this charger. I've had no problems with it and it works great, as does the Apple branded charger that came with my MacBook. A few months after receiving my Apple charger, I noticed sparking and a crackling noise (I bought a refurbished MacBook Pro and it came with an Apple branded charger). As a result, the charger stopped working at all. I'm a full-time student and I was in dire need of a new charger for my laptop, but didn't have much money for a new one. This charger has been a lifesaver for me, I'm so glad I was able to replace my charger at a reasonable price.
