Good clip, two different orientations - good idea. What I immediately noticed is that the clamp handle that closes at the base of the camera arch doesn't "capture". If you unscrew it all the way it will come out in your hand (if you are lucky it will fall on the grass, or the creek, or the sand.) This differs from the Made in USA clips Kirk, RRS, ProMediaGear, Hejnar and AcraTech all have the locking handles trapped in the base and will not disengage from the clamp body even when fully open. I have clamps from all of these manufacturers and they all fit better, are better finished and have a better feel, but this clamp seems unique in that it has two different 1/4" alignment holes. So I had to buy this economy import to get this feature, but like most things it's a compromise.
