Review on Security Recorder Surveillance Recording RLN16 410 by Trevor Garrett

Same great platform as 8ch but with more inputs! Ordered and made by Revain, we had it in our hands within 3 days. Our system continues to grow (up to 11 cameras now) so we were inclined to move from 8 to 16 channels. We currently have 1 C2, 2 RLC-420 and 8 RLC-410 and plan to add more C2 and RLC-423 in the near future. We had no issues with our first device and had no issues updating and switching back to Reolink. I highly recommend saving the configuration file once you've got everything set up the way you want it. Reolink is constantly adding new features and improving them, so it pays to stay tuned for firmware updates. Firmware updates restore the device to its default settings, but restoring it afterwards is easy and painless as long as you have a copy of the configuration file to import back! The only thing I can complain about is the size of the hard drive that comes with these devices. If, like us, you record 24/7, the 8-channel, 8-camera unit will store 4 full days of video on the included 2TB hard drive. While this proved sufficient, I believe 7 days would have been much better and less risk of overriding the event. If you have the option, I would recommend a 3TB hard drive for an 8-channel device and 6TB for a 16-channel device if you plan on recording 24/7.
