I was expecting more magnets along the vertical edge of the curtains. There are 4 of them in the photo, but there is only one, but it doesn't matter that much. The magnets are strong, the suction cups are fine. Be sure to release the suction cups before lowering the window, otherwise the whole thing will be pulled down and the suction cups will be sucked into the door. Half the time I don't put on suction cups anyway. I think the suction cup holes should be a little lower. I'm not sure why they placed them almost in the middle of the shadow. I would prefer them to be lower towards the bottom of the shadow to increase the effectiveness of the shaded area. It's a little hard to see from the window, but it's possible. Just make sure to look extra when you're pulling into traffic etc. My husband always takes them off when he's driving as he finds they obstruct the view too much. I have an Odyssey van so the windows are large and cover most of the window. It seems I've complained a lot in this review, but overall I'm happy with the purchase.
