I don't think this is the supplier/manufacturer's fault but it doesn't seem to work with my Moto Z3. There seems to be a common issue with Moto phones not working with USB-C Aux cables, except when using the Aux USB-C jack adapter that only came with some phones. I'm disappointed, but I'm keeping the cables in case I need them in the future as all new phones seem to be moving to USB-C ports. That issue aside, the cable appears to be well made and hopefully I'll get it. to use it in the future. I could upgrade my phone and move on from Moto.
