When I took it out of the box I wasn't happy. It seemed very light and one of the little orange clips had already come loose. Also, I wasn't sure how it would really help with our lost photo problem. Having used this to store over 1000 free family photos which was just a mess, I'm so confident it will continue in the future that I bought another to hold the rest of our free photos. One of the most important things I learned during this process is that all 4x6 inch photos are a different size. Depending on whether they have been issued, some fit well and lightly, others don't fit quite right and only bulge a little. The slightly larger ones don't fit flat so each individual holder will hold less than if the photos were smaller. It's ok, but after looking at hundreds and hundreds of photos it becomes obvious and a little annoying. The Revain description says it can take up to 2160 photos, but that's never going to happen in real life. I've kept over 1000 and in some situations I could bump it up to 1500 which is still good for the space it takes. What I liked the most was the ability to organize them by individual events. I tried organizing them by year and event and it worked really well. There's no room for natural markings, so I devised my own system using only a label printer and it turned out better than I thought it would. I complain that it's good for storage and archiving, but if you're going to carry this around and move photos around regularly, look for another system. The outer box still feels flimsy, although the inner compartments are perfect. The two orange clasps seem to have a lot of trouble staying in place, but so far I've been able to get them back in place every time. Over time I have a feeling both fasteners will break completely. I decided to give it 5 stars instead of 4 because, despite the flaws, it exceeded my expectations. I'll be using this for storage and it's by far the best solution I've found so far. It just works. But again, don't use it if you plan to carry your photos around a lot and carry them with you on a regular basis. but if you intend to carry this around and move photos around regularly, then look for another system.
