The OEM bulb in my Benq HT1075 broke after about 3250 hours in Eco mode (a bit disappointing). Determined to take a chance and buy one of these great value replacements despite the bad reviews. Before replacing the bulbs, I watched a few YouTube videos of some other instances where the bulbs exploded, smashing glass around the projector and into some of the fans causing it. break down. For this reason I cleaned as much dirt as I could from the lamp area after removing the old one with the small micro vacuum attachments that came with my Shark Rocket vacuum. It picked up some glass splinters, including some that got caught in the fan connector, which could have caused problems if I turned it back on without cleaning it. Replacing the lamp itself was an easy task. The replacement matched the original bulb well and was easy. Before working with the lamp I used the gloves included in the package. I only have about 4 hours on the new lamp but so far everything is working great. I will update this review if there are any issues but for now 5 stars!
