Review on Must-Have Retirement Checklist: 16 Oz Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Lid by Belinda Phelps

I thought this travel mug was made entirely of stainless steel, but only on the inside. Outside there is an outer plastic coating with a pattern only on thick paper, which is inside the plastic. In the first photo, black is the inside of the glass and light gray around the edges is plastic (no glare it seems). The bottom is unscrewed and you can access the paper inside (2nd photo). Still good for gifting, but ended up being cheaper than I wanted because of the plastic. The lid leaks liquid from the slide lock (hard to find one that doesn't have it). There was also a small stress crack on the bottom of the cup.
