READ the instructions and do them in the right order! There is a video about it here (in the questions section). I would bet 4.5 if it were possible. Didn't bother with the strap which I found useful. You can do the same as with the stand. The strap is sewn on at one end, so you'll have to cut the stitching to remove it. When it's still on, the tablet doesn't lie flat when you type - it wobbles. Disappointing is the fact that the stand only has one angle (60 degrees from horizontal) except when it's folded - it won't get into the locked position unless you also adjust the strap. The lock button is hard to reach for unlocking - it really should be bigger. I didn't need the neck strap so I had to completely disassemble it to get the plug out. You'll need a knitting needle or something similar to get it back through the tiny slots when you want to reinstall it. ) and definitely strong enough to protect your device when dropped. Would recommend if you don't want to jump for an otter or something even more expensive. It's worth the comparable cents of the price.
