Yes, this is primarily for kids, but it can actually be a fun desk toy. I have two, blue shades and a more traditional rainbow shade. You are both great. The silicone is nice and well colored. Technically, they can be washed in the dishwasher for disinfection and cleaning. But now they're sitting on my desk, adding a little rainbow pathos and meditative play to my workspace. There are many, many ways to collect and build fun for all ages.
