This is a high-quality, no-frills 23-inch LED monitor from Dell. While it's certainly the base model, it's not the cheapest model. You should study monitor descriptions very carefully and look for the following features: DC Inverter (Yes, some models have external AC adapters, which I find ridiculous. Avoid them!) Just plug in a standard computer power cord for this monitor , and that's it! - VGA input (Yes, some monitors have dropped this standard as well. I recommend looking into this feature to give yourself some flexibility just in case.) Brightness, color reproduction and sharpness are all of excellent quality. I use this monitor for spreadsheets, movies and photo editing. So size and quality are very important to my work. In this respect I am very satisfied with this monitor! This monitor comes with a built in stand but is fairly basic and only has some tilt (no rotation or height adjustment). You can buy a separate stand that does these things if you need it, but to be honest I'm fine with what it does. (Stands can be very expensive). 5 Stars! Quality monitor without frills!
