I bought this for a slightly different reason than as a place for babies. I got this for my dog who is recovering from an injury and has been advised to reduce her activity for a few weeks while she recovers. It's not very big so it could easily fit through the small zippered doors if needed and I think overall it was a better indoor alternative than a wire playpen. It needs to be assembled, so it's best suited for rooms where you want it to stay out for a while, unlike foldable items that can be quickly folded and broken. Overall for me it's worth the price, love the size and the dimensions were perfect for the corner of my living room. I plan to use this again in the future as a safe place for the pup, although I may reinforce the mesh to prevent small nails from getting in.
