I'm not sure these replacement cartridges are as good as the ones that come with the shower stall screw. I have skin sensitivity to chlorine and other chemicals used to disinfect water. When I bought the Aquabliss device with the filter cartridge that came with it, my skin no longer burned or itched after the shower and my skin problems disappeared. However, since I started buying individual replacement filters, I haven't seen the same results. I don't think he filters out what he says. I can send a filtered water sample to a local lab to have it tested. Update: Attached is the result of the water quality test strip. Filtered Aquabliss on the left, normal tap water on the right (and in the middle on the 2nd photo). The difference is pretty small. Chlorine and cyanic acid levels decreased slightly (2nd from top and last block), but ph, water hardness, free chlorine, etc. remained the same. On the other hand, my Brita pitcher did a great job!
