I wanted to cover the top of my dresser as it was starting to look rough. I've used a little contact paper lately and on much larger areas than my dresser, but this paper was by far the worst and most difficult to work with. The paper is very thin. I used Windex just in case I needed to move the paper. The paper didn't stick to my dresser with Windex. So I pulled on the edges to see if I could get it to stick and it kept tearing. Then I decided to brush Windex off my dresser and just try my luck with paper as is. It became better to glue, but not completely. Then I ran out of paper and the last inch of paper is useless. Everything is crumpled and wrapped with tape, traces of which remain. I had to use some of the paper I removed earlier. Putting the two pieces together was extremely difficult and they look far from perfect. After a lot of wastage, trimming, and frustration, I'm left with a dresser that looks good enough to stand in a closet. I would definitely avoid this contact paper. I was looking for a cheap product and unfortunately I got this one. I stick with brands that I know will work in the future.
