I had a situation where I had meibomian gland disease and had barley for several months in a row (e.g. 6 at a time). It was terrible. My optometrist had me come in weekly and they had to stick this metal probe into every sebum in my eye. It was like eye rape. I ended up with a problem where the sebum glands were blocked and they told me I would need surgery to remove blockages in my sebum glands (big bumps that blocked vision). Yes No. I found an amazing acupuncturist and at the same time this amazing eye wash. My optometrist never once told me I needed an antibacterial eyewash. I've tried a few after some googling. WeLoveEyes was amazing when combined with acupuncture. It's been 2 years since that awful time - no surgery. My acupuncturist said I would probably need to go through her eye log again, but I guess I didn't because I use WeLoveEyes every day, still do my morning hot eye pack and massage.
