I have a small home studio and my old Sony headphones are just starting to wear out, although they could still be used. As an author, I also listen to my books while Word reads them to me as I edit/edit; Listening with headphones really helps me spot mistakes and awkward sentences, and these headphones are great for that. I find them quite comfortable and the fact that they come with two detachable laces is a real plus. I keep a straight, shorter cord on my desk next to my laptop and a coiled cord in my music room. So I only have to move the headphones from room to room as needed, not the cables. I hope they last longer than me but if not I would definitely consider buying them again.
