These things are dangerous junk. To say I'm disappointed with these cables is an understatement. Of the five cords, only the yellow one still works, and even that is a bit kinked. The red one in the photo worked until yesterday. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it's slightly curved and looks like the silver charging part sticks out a little further than the new one. The orange one broke in the pill and I had to use jewelry pliers to fish it out. It broke after three days and I thought maybe my eldest son accidentally broke it somehow and just didn't tell me. Blue did the same but without removing the tongs. It broke after about a week when my husband picked it up to unplug it. The green felt hot and flexed as he picked up the tablet he was about to charge. It just bent over, I think due to its own weight, and then it started making a clicking noise. It was turned off quickly, the noise came from the electricity. So for those five cables, all used at home to charge a few tablets, we have less than a month of total usage. I plan on throwing away the leftover yellow after I buy something else. We're definitely not letting it charge or even plug in unless we're sitting next to it and it's in a surge protector. I don't think they won't burn down my house. Upon receipt we were optimistic that they would be durable and safe. That's definitely not true. I can't understand why they have such a high rating, maybe we got a lot of marriage.
