I needed a ring light for my desk where I often take pictures from the table. My old ring light cast faint shadows that were sometimes difficult to set up, while this one didn't cast any of those bright shadows that I was very pleased with. It's very easy to control where the stand adjusts perfectly to any angle I need. The lighting is controlled via an interface on the back of the flashlight but I really like the Android app where being able to get control without being behind a light source works great. Very easy to assemble and disassemble, the body is really good quality and also has a lot of cushions to protect the light. There are no cons, the light works well for me which makes me very happy with the purchase.
