I bought these tweezers in a shop many years ago and they have always helped me very well. So I reordered them here when I lost them recently. The new ones work just as well as my old ones. This package contains two different tweezers. I use the ones that have a beveled edge. I've never used the one with the narrow tip. I think it's possible that the people who said it didn't grip well were trying to use the pointed tip of the angled tweezers to pluck it. Beveled edge for capturing hair, not just a pointed tip. I use them to pluck facial hair and they work very well when used that way. This is a quality product at a much lower price than most tweezers you will find in store with the convenience of shipping. (It arrived 4 days later and I placed the order on Saturday.)
