Review on Kemys Preschool Backpacks: The Perfect Choice for Preschoolers and Kindergartners by Wendy Backous

Good backpack suitable for kids backpacks

I bought this backpack for my 7 year old daughter who is a bit rough with her stuff. The material is excellent. We've had to run it through the washing machine twice because it was covered in ketchup on the inside (yes, both times) and it washes really well. I was afraid that the beige border would get dirty, but it's also washable. The zipper on the outside pocket broke after 3 weeks and another kid at school who had the same backpack had the exact same issue. The interior is nice and roomy, but the inner laptop sleeve, which we use for her homework folder, is a bit small. The pen holder is too small for regular pens. The extra pocket isn't very useful as a packed lunch as it's not insulated (although it wasn't advertised as insulated I was hoping it was) and too small to use for extracurricular activities so we did too do not use. a lot of. It also cannot be attached to a backpack. With just a few tweaks (upgraded zipper, slightly larger laptop compartment, upgraded accessory pockets) this backpack could be perfect.
