This bag has replaced my traditional laptop shoulder bag and is perfect for carrying a MacBook Air (in a protective sleeve) and some folders of papers. Pros:-- The shoulder straps are comfortable.-- The layout is great. In fact, it's really shocking how much stuff fits in, despite the footprint being much smaller than the bag I used before. The side pockets are great for mouse, headphones, etc. The top zip pocket is perfect. for wallet and keys. -- The front pocket has multiple interior compartments and room for phones, pens, business cards, extra batteries and more. -- Good quality. Minor cons (if you can call them that): -- If you have a lot of items in your bag, don't throw your keys in the front zip pocket - they will get lost, especially if you have many other items together at the bottom of the front zip pocket . So now I use a zip top bag which is perfect. I carry this bag on one shoulder most of the time, but when I wear it like a proper backpack, the straps seem to sit very low on my shoulders. However, I didn't even try to adjust them, so it's probably pilot error and not really a problem for me. There is no strap on the back to attach to the retractable luggage handle and I really wish there was one. Bottom line: great price. Highly recommended.
