For a few dollars compared to the hundreds I spent on a sofa, I have successfully stopped all four of my cats from using the sofa as a scratching post. I am so grateful for this item and this cleanliness is aesthetically pleasing. My cutting material is faux leather so I just peeled and glued without pins. I wore them for about a month with no sign of damage or peeling. I would buy two of these as one definitely doesn't cover much. Also, be careful not to smear the furniture with glue and then lift it up several times, as this will create less transparency. All in all a good buy.
