The wooden seat is pre-drilled and comes with hardware to attach to a green metal stool. However, the stool itself has no holes for mounting, and the wooden seat is in no way suitable for installation. So you get the wooden seat you don't need and the green metal stool without the wooden seat you were expecting. If this suits you, submit a purchase request. I personally am disappointed. The first thing I did was sit down in a chair to write this review which I hope will be informative to potential buyers.
