Quality leather. It has good stretch and sews easily with a square stitch, pulling the thread through all the other stitches that run along the edge of the leather. I have black, smooth, no holes. It takes about an hour or two to make the entire steering wheel, so be patient. UPDATE: Well, it didn't last long. I have changed my rating from five stars to one star and could have given zero, the leather has started to peel on the lower left side of the steering wheel so I can no longer recommend this leather. I don't know if it's fake or what it is, but it all peels off. My advice to you: keep looking and choose another brand. But when you think about the time I spent sticking that onto the steering wheel, I'm a little pissed that this leather didn't even last a few months. So my advice to you is to look for another brand.
