It took me a while to pull the trigger to buy this PS4 upgrade kit. I looked at different lists. Everyone, including this one, had a few horror stories: people having nightmares about the installation. I followed the instructions exactly and everything went smoothly. PS4 has been working great since the update. And no more annoying messages that there is no space. Hence my advice to anyone in doubt: do it, as long as you follow the instructions that came with the kit you shouldn't have any problems. Not sure why. The PS4 was kept relatively clean, wall mounted and required adequate ventilation. I didn't want to risk it so I went to a local place that overcharged me to replace the SSD with a new one. PS4 works fine again.
