I bought these to fake Ikea Alex drawers - I'm trying to create a custom dressing table because my makeup is taking over! They weren't difficult to assemble, although after collecting a few I have some useful tips: 1. Divide the pieces for the crates into different piles.2. The rail systems are available in packs of 4 and can be divided into right/left drawers and right/left cabinets3. Install rails on each side of the cabinet before assembling it, trust me on this one! Connect the top of the case first, then flip it over to install the bottom. Install the casters, if any, at this point5. I installed all of the drawer slides before assembling the drawers - this made the task easier6. Insert the drawers starting from the bottom. The quality of this device is excellent, it is slightly smaller than the Ikea version but also significantly more economical (especially since I have already bought 6 of these boxes). I left the casters on and secured them in place to give the extra height needed for the vanity. The drawers open and close well, and the wheels make it easy to move the unit when not locked. They also have a 7-drawer module for less than $100 (too expensive for a vanity), but it works well for other storage options. I used one for nail polish and one for hair. I would highly recommend these nightstands to anyone who wants to organize their stuff in style at a great price.
