We bought this watch as a birthday present for a six year old who is at school learning to tell the time. While we preferred "hands" to a digital dial, this was what little ones wanted for this type of watch. As soon as she opened this gift, everything seemed to stop. She stopped to show everyone that she had a "real" watch. We've since learned that it was her favorite gift and that she carried it to bed that night. :-) Now to our product test. The watch is a good size and is really sturdy - there is nothing flimsy about it. The dial is large, made of glass (not plastic), the numbers are easy to read. Setting the date and time on the watch was not a problem. The strap is well stitched with no messy threads sticking out and easily fits different sizes on different small wrists. It comes in an attractive metal storage box and should last for years.
