Perfect for travel! We took our 2 month old on a 2 day train trip and weren't sure how he was going to sleep. It was perfect! He fit on the bed leaving me enough room to sleep with my head right next to him. When folded it is very compact and also worked while we stayed with family so we didn't have to carry a huge backpack and play in his bed. He's a long baby and will probably outgrow him by 4 months (his head is in the photo above but he has room behind his legs, I just didn't center him when I tucked him in) but the train ride was good for it is it worth. one!
