I purchased and used this mousepad with a DeathAdder Elite mouse I've owned for about a year (and haven't changed legs) which I previously had on a Razer Invicta mousepad have used. My first experience with this rug was amazing; It's fast and smooth and has the lowest friction on any mat I've ever used. The total cost is $60. However, I did notice significant slowdowns in areas of the mouse pad where I was actively using the mouse. Some online research showed comments from others stating that the mat quickly wore down the legs of PTFE mice and the particles were embedded in the mat's surface. , which significantly affects the speed. To test this, I ordered replacement PTFE feet (OEM, not 100% PTFE like HyperGlides or CorePads). I don't know how long these new feet will last on the Acari, but even if they wear out quicker than regular pads, I think it's worth it. The Acari has almost no friction, which is amazing. I have ordered a set of 100% PTFE feet and will stock them when the new set wears out. Until then, the Acari gets my vote as a great hard-topping mat.
