This part is ideal for bathrooms and bedrooms. It might be a bit small to use in a large space like a kitchen open to the rest of the house, but given enough time it will work. O3 is great at killing odors. Turn it on for a few minutes with the door closed and the stench will go away after the O3 has been running for 5 or 10 minutes. Of course it smells like O3, but that doesn't last long and dissipates, leaving a neutral smell of hospital cleanliness instead of a stench. I've used it a few times on burnt popcorn in the kitchen and it helps get rid of the smoke smell. I had to leave it for a few hours but it did the job. Excellent unit. I will buy another one or two and have already recommended it to several people.
