Second Impression: After a salt calibration test and comparison to a few identical Acurite combos, I have to admit I'm shocked at how close this ultra-cheap plastic could come to this sweatshop. I'll have to play around with it a bit more to see how the humidity reads a bit more accurately, but I'm keeping it as a backup. Whatever the case, as I'm pretty sure I've voided any possible warranty by opening it up to see how to calibrate it. Some idiot at the factory glued everything together, making the internal parts inaccessible without surgery.
