Review on JJC AET-CS(II) 12mm, 20mm, 36mm for Canon EF/EF-S by Agata Jurkiewicz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

I really like these rings. Usually I use it in tandem with Tamron 150-600. You can quickly put on the rings and the super-telephoto lens turns into a macro. And you don’t have to carry a macro lens with you, when walking through the forest you start counting every gram, and these rings are very light. Autofocus always works flawlessly and helps a lot. Initially, I bought it in order to understand in general whether it was worth doing macro photography, since buying a macro lens without experience in shooting was a little scary. But even after the purchase of Laowa 25 mm (magnification 2.5-5x) they remain faithful and reliable assistants. If you are going to try yourself in macro - feel free to buy.

Pros
  • Huge increase. There is autofocus. Good workmanship. Compact and lightweight. Cheap (compared to macro lenses) Three different rings for different objects. Can be used with any convenient lens (telephoto, portrait)
Cons
  • Dark. They play a little.
