Bought as a present for my 75 year old mother, she loves the colour, the light finish and the material. I agree with your analysis, including that my mother is difficult to please. A few months later, my mother stopped using the tablet case because it was interfering with the functionality of her tablet. I'm not sure if the magnetic placement has anything to do with it. I had to take the lid off completely so that some functions on your tablet were unresponsive.
