Follow the instructions.
I had to take the second one, the first one doesn't stick at all. Actually, I think the plastic wrap "removes" the "stickiness" from the jar. I know it wasn't meant to be, and it doesn't make sense, but it happened. It must have been an accident as I went back for the exact replacement and it worked great. As long as you follow the instructions, you cannot have bubbles.
