The first cartridge was refilled with HP and worked perfectly. The second cartridge in pack 2 didn't work at all. My printer didn't accept it. He just said the printer needed attention. The return period had expired so I had to throw it away and buy something that worked. Recommend buying one at a time if you want to use these cheap refills so you can return them if they don't work. The one that worked took about 5 months, but we don't print that much.
