Logitech MK270 Leaky keyboard?: my truth review

Another set of logitech keyboards and mice has settled in our house. I settled not because the previous ones were out of order, but simply because the family is large and all keyboards / mice from other manufacturers are gradually being replaced by logitech ones. Believe it or not... but when it comes to wireless devices, Logitech rules. Their main advantage is a long service life without changing batteries and good responsiveness, without brakes. That's just ergonomics sometimes spoils all raspberries. In particular, I don't really like this kit in this regard. However, this is a budget package. So a set of mouse and keyboard M270. It looks normal, but absolutely standard. There is nothing original. This is a minus. Buying a set is better than buying them individually. For in this case, the keyboard and mouse will work from one adapter. And if you take it separately, you will have to take two USB. Other Logitech mice from the adapter from this kit do not work. Work only from the adapter intended for them. The layout is also standard, but this is already a plus. The power button is on the top. It's comfortable. Many of these keyboards have it on the back. The luminous letter A is an indicator of the enabled CAPS Lock. There are no other indicators on the keyboard. HOLES? Yes, this keyboard is full of holes! This is such a protection against the main enemy of all keyboards - from spilled drinks ... True, if you read the specifications carefully, they write that, roughly speaking, they tested the spill of only 60 ml of liquid. That is, it is not necessary to relax too much. But ... there is some kind of protection. Tea with compote has not yet been poured, but the daughter somehow knocked over a glass of water. All the water flowed out safely through these holes, without consequences. Taking a picture of the holes was not so easy, I marked a couple of them with arrows. It's clearer on the back. Also noted. In the photo above, you can not help but pay attention to somehow glued legs. Yes, they quickly fell off. Yes, the keyboard is often taken with you to bed ... but that's why it needs a wireless one. Ergonomics? I don't like high keys. They are rather average here, but the lower the better for me. They don't like these. Although my husband is quite normal, he uses it both for games and for work. Tutu taste and color... Batteries (3 pieces AAA) are located at the back. Claimed battery life is 36 months! Although with a postscript, which depends on the modes of operation. Ours is very active. Every day for several hours. Nothing...still runs on the supplied batteries. Bought it 10 months ago. MOUSE The mouse (M185) is also not very original. We have several similar ones in our house. It is simple, no frills. Works great, responsive. What else does? The wheel is rubberized and works well. No questions. It is a pity that the sides are not rubberized. Because of this nuance, the mouse immediately becomes a pleasant hand, less solid ... more plastic or something. On the belly is a compartment with a battery (1 piece AA) and a place for an adapter. Oh, and the on/off button. There is no charge indicator either on the mouse or on the keyboard - this is also a minus. Claimed battery life for the mouse is 18 months. Ours is 10 months old so far ... there are no signs of planting. ___ Total: PROS - There is moisture protection on the keyboard - Works well, responsive. - The mouse works on any surface, including on the knee. - The range is sufficient. Works great from any corner of the room - Batteries last a long time MINUSES: - high keys - the legs on the keyboard quickly broke - there is no charge indicator ... and an operation indicator neither on the keyboard nor on the mouse - lack of rubberized sides of the mouse In short, a good, but not perfect set. Works well, but lacks solidity and ergonomics. A little lower keys and a nicer mouse ... well, stronger legs. And he wouldn't have a price. If we talk about the ideal, then the Logitech K230 keyboard is ideal for me. From the photo, the height of the keys on it does not seem much lower. But on K230 they are lower and more comfortable. And from mice, the logitech M235 mouse is ideal Too bad it's not a set.
