We have a problem. I bought this pair of LED bulbs to replace an incandescent bulb in my old '84 Mallard RV. Well it fits and I have a spare in case one burns out in the next 40 years or so. It fit perfectly in the original case where the old bulb had melted from overheating. Isn't that swollen? Well, with these fancy new LED bulbs, I no longer have that problem. They get a little warm, but absolutely nothing to worry about, especially compared to incandescent bulbs. Let's get back to the problem. My eyesight was about 20/20 when I bought these LED bulbs. After installing one of these, I made the mistake of looking directly at the LEDs. Now I dictate my thoughts to my wife so she can print them out for me since I'm blind as a bat. Even the sun could learn from these lightbulbs. I swear you could turn it on in broad daylight at noon and somehow it would light up the street. If you could take one of those giant spotlights that shoots beams of light up into the sky and scaled it down to a 1.65" x 0.67" rectangle, that would be it. I heard from my wife that all the LEDs on the bulb still glow beautifully. She heeded my warning not to look at her directly and put on a welding mask to check and see her. They should be called Medusa Lights or Poltergeist Lights. I could even quote Bruce Springsteen and/or Manfred Mann. I am very happy with this purchase. VERY bright (unlike me) and heartfelt. I left it for a long time without a single problem. Don't look around (or look directly at them), just buy these lightbulbs. You will certainly not be disappointed. Yes, there are many LED string lights out there, but let me save you some time. I would also like to recommend you to buy sunglasses along with these light bulbs. And yes, wear them at night. Incidentally, LUED will be hearing from my attorney about the pain and suffering caused by my newfound blindness. I just have to find it first.
