I use these to hook up a new stereo and they seem to work great for what I need. Sometimes I feel like they are too big for the wires because I have to bend the ends of the wires a bit to make a ball before crimping the end. Otherwise I have no problems. I'm not done yet but I know you can heat shrink the ends of the wires to make them waterproof.
