These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I have ever worn, almost like tennis shoes! The sole is soft and spongy, and the upper provides good support for the top of the foot and ankles. The skin is soft and stretches as the foot moves without tearing during the non-stinging period. It appears to be high quality leather (Bomber Brown). I'm glad I read the reviews and as most have commented they are a bit big which makes them about 1/2 size! I wear 10 1/2 most tennis shoes and 11 inches (Nike) and I bought 10 and they are perfect. The toe is nice and wide. Highly recommended!
