Review on Acer PM141Q Portable Monitor Included 13.3", 1920X1080, 60Hz, Wide Screen, ‎UM.AP1AA.001 by Jodi Dean

Revainrating 2 out of 5

It was great while it lasted

I bought this monitor early in the pandemic when I was starting to work from home and wanted the 'dual monitor setup' that I'm used to at my workplace without the huge expense. The resolution was a bit low but it did the job. The idea that I can take it with me anywhere was great. I would definitely keep this monitor with me when commuting after COVID has passed. Fast forward about 1/2 year later and the monitor shows nothing. The Acer logo loads when I plug it in, but after that it doesn't show up. When I used it I wasn't traveling with it, didn't carry it in my bag or whatever (pandemic), it stayed on my desk. The monitor lasted about 6 months and I'm writing this review now because I hopped on the Revain in search of a replacement. I've bought a lot of Acer hardware and it's usually very good value for money, but I wish this thing lasted longer. Short lifespan aside, it was a great little monitor for the price. You can look for something more expensive with better resolution and hopefully longer lifespan.
