This is a good quality camera that is virtually drop proof. My toddler has dropped it several times over the past few months and it still works like new. The quality of the camera body is pretty good, good high friction silicone for a good grip with a good neck strap. The video resolution isn't bad, it's listed as Full HD, but I have a feeling that the videos it captured are actually upscaled (I've noticed kids cameras upscale a lot, which is a shame). 5MP photos aren't bad, but these days and with the big TVs that everyone has in the home, the 5MP camera is no longer appropriate and the photos tend to look washed out. No matter how hard I try to teach my 4.5 year old to hold the camera steady, the photos aren't very good. Good enough for a toddler to be happy about, but not something you'd want him to have when he's a teenager. Micro USB charging is typical and nothing special. A 32GB SD card is included, which is a nice touch on their part. The operation and playback is not very easy, but not that difficult either, I would say your little one will definitely need some practice to master this. Once they learn it, they can easily handle it. There are some fun photo frames and some pretty cool color filters. All in all I recommend this camera, I just wish the photo and video quality was a bit better, especially since this is for kids and no kid can hold the camera perfectly straight, they should add some anti-shake and stabilization to the process images.
